Our zero tolerance towards all forms of bribery and corruption.
Last updated: September 2026
This policy sets out our principles and standards on anti-bribery and corruption for HUSSSH — Hush Scandinavia AB ("the Company"). It reinforces our zero tolerance towards all forms of corruption and our commitment to maintaining accurate records of our business dealings.
This policy does not stop us doing legitimate business — promoting products, executing contracts, exchanging scientific information or paying official published fees for services or goods provided by public authorities.
We comply with the Swedish Criminal Code (Brottsbalken, chapter 10, sections 5a–5e), which prohibits taking and giving bribes, trading in influence and negligent financing of bribery, and with applicable EU and international anti-corruption rules, including the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention and the United Nations Convention against Corruption, as well as the laws of every country in which we do business. We follow the Swedish Anti-Corruption Institute's Code on Gifts, Rewards and other Benefits in Business (Näringslivskoden).
Our staff, and third parties acting on our behalf, are required to understand and comply with these principles and standards. All of us are responsible for preventing bribery and corruption and for reporting any concern or suspicion, so that we can identify risks and investigate where needed.
Breaching this policy may also break the law, and can lead to disciplinary action, dismissal, fines and imprisonment. Personal funds may not be used to circumvent this policy.
We do not, directly or through a third party, promise, offer, give, authorise, solicit or accept any improper financial or other advantage, to or from anyone, to obtain or retain business or to secure an improper advantage. This applies whether the person is a public official or works in the private sector.
An advantage can be anything of value, including cash, gifts, services, job offers, loans, travel, entertainment or hospitality. Gifts and hospitality must be modest, transparent, recorded where appropriate, and never offered or accepted to influence a business decision.
We prohibit all facilitation payments. These are unofficial, improper payments or gifts made to public officials to secure or speed up a routine action to which we are legally entitled.
We expect our distributors, agents, suppliers and licensing partners to comply with equivalent standards. We carry out appropriate due diligence before appointing them, and our agreements include anti-corruption commitments.
Our books and records accurately reflect the business rationale, purpose, substance and legality of all local and cross-border transactions, payments and expenses, in accordance with the Swedish Bookkeeping Act (SFS 1999:1078). We do not induce third parties to make incomplete or misleading entries in their records.
Suspected bribery or corruption connected to our business should be reported to hush@hushscandinavia.se. Reports are handled confidentially, and people who report in good faith are protected from retaliation in line with the Swedish Whistleblower Act (SFS 2021:890) and the EU Whistleblowing Directive (EU) 2019/1937. Reports can also be made to the Swedish Police Authority's National Anti-Corruption Group or the Swedish Prosecution Authority's National Anti-Corruption Unit.
